Overview
Taking place in the Northernmost reaches of Canada, the Northern WE in Tourism project unites Indigenous women entrepreneurs from the Northwest Territories, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nunavut, the Yukon, and Northern Quebec in a study to identify common pathways to entrepreneurship.
Beyond traditional outreach, this website's main goal was to provide a means for indigenous women to share their stories and recommendations on being women entrepreneurs in the Canadian North.
Allowing the ability to find upcoming events, and read about past events, was made as simple as possible for users through a Next.js front end. This was all integrated into a Sanity backend, allowing staff and moderators to easily update and create new events and create and update any content pages desired.
